Daniel is a lifelong gardener and daffodil hybridizer. He is President of the St. Joseph Valley Daffodil Society, formerly President of the Western Reserve Daffodil Society (Cleveland, Ohio), Senior National Judge Instructor for the American Daffodil Society, and has served as Midwest Regional Vice President and Regional Director. He has won every major daffodil show award.
